We are very happy to announce the Weemss app on Zapier is officially out of open beta and fully functional. You can connect it to another app you use, without the need to hire a developer or learn to code. All you need is a Weemss account, a Zapier account, then follow a few simple steps and you’re ready to roll!
Weemss now connects to more than 750 other popular apps and services on the web. You can automate and optimize your work across the board – from adding and updating contacts in email marketing or CRM software (e.g. Mailchimp, Hubspot CRM, Salesforce, etc.); to generating invoices (e.g. Xero, Quickbooks, Freshbooks, etc.); creating tasks in project management software (e.g. Trello, Asana, Basecamp, etc.); and updating Slack, Google Sheets, Podio, etc.
These integrations are the best thing ever and getting started is a breeze, even if you’re not tech-savvy.
The simplest setup
Log into Zapier and add your Weemss account to the list of Connected Accounts. You will be asked to provide the email you’ve registered with Weemss and the API key.
Your API key can be found at https://app.weemss.com/user/api-keys. Zapier will automatically test it to confirm that everything works smoothly. Once you’ve added Weemss to your Zapier apps you are ready to connect your favourite event platform to hundreds of other popular services on the web.
Time to Zap
You’ve added your Weemss account to Zapier and are ready to connect it to some of your favourite apps! A connection between two web applications via Zapier is called a Zap. Each Zap needs a Trigger App and an Action App, which means that the first app triggers the action in the second app. Currently Weemss supports two triggers.
- New registration – Triggered when a new registration is made
- New payment – Triggered when a new payment is made
Trigger: Someone registers for your event -> Action: Their data is added to your customer database in Google Sheets
Trigger: You receive a new payment -> Action: An invoice is automatically created in your prefered invoicing app
The guys over at Zapier have done a great job creating a process that lets you set things up fast and easy. To create a new Zap simply press the MAKE A ZAP! button in Zapier and follow the steps to complete the setup. Similar to your newly created events in Weemss, your new Zaps will remain in draft mode until you are ready to flick the switch and activate them. It’s better to test everything before activating.
